Royal Albert Hall

J Duchen's blog is well-known. I was sorry to read that she felt unwell during the Proms's Meistersinger but saw that I may not be the only one who has a problem with the Royal Albert Hall, read here ...

    You and Jessica are far from alone. The second best thing that could be done for the Proms would be to move the venue (even better, raze the Royal Albert Hall to the ground). It is difficult to understand why anyone could ever have thought it appropriate as a concert hall. (The best thing would be to get rid of half the audience, who seem to do anything but listen to the music.)
